Description
Work of Carlos Guerra del Moral, one of the best-known image makers in modern Andalusia, born in Ubeda, province of Jaen, and with creations and restorations in Seville, Malaga, Alicante and other cities, mainly in southern Spain. His carvings and lines are inspired by the Baroque, which has given so much fame and personality to the steps of Holy Week in that area, although it also adds certain touches of modernity that allow the current observer to understand and be moved by his images. In this sense, his Jesus Stripped off is outstanding for Alicante, which stands out for its expressiveness and feeling.
