Description

Holy Christ Lord of Life and Death is a carving made by the workshops "Artemartinez" in Horche (Guadalajara), in 2003, and represents the moment in which Christ, nailed to the Cross, raises his sight towards the sky, moments before expiring. It was commissioned by the Penitential Church of St. Augustine as a devotional image and that the Franciscan Brotherhood, once in that church, begins to process intermittently until the approval of the Procession of Light and Darkness.
