Description
It is a life-size cedar wood carving made by the artist Ventura Gomez Rodriguez in 2011. He was born in Mairena del Alcor. This artist felt from a small vocation for the plastic arts. After his high school studies, he worked in other workshops of woodwork and artistic locksmithing, combining these tasks with certain assignments for some local brotherhoods. In 1993 he met his teacher, the famous Luis Alvarez Duarte, from whom he began to receive some lessons that will outline his dedication to sculpture and imagery.
