Description
Work of the sculptor Victor de los Ríos, made in oak wood in 1954. Brothers had decided, after a fire in the forties in the premises of the Brotherhood, restore some paces and acquire new ones. At first it was looking for an image that represented the Capture of Jesus, but after several years the Brotherhood decided to commission a Virgin that had a great acceptance among the brothers. In fact, as a result of its acquisition, the Brotherhood varied its initial title, incorporating in it the Virgin of the Bitterness like co-principal.
