Description
Carving done in 2003 by Miguel Angel Rojo. It represents the moment immediately preceding the death of Jesus, he does not have the release but his face raised to heaven reflects the moment when the Crucified asks the Father for the forgiveness of humans. It has the peculiarity of having holes at the wrists instead of the hands, his face appears tired and his great size, corpulence and expressivity confer him a majestic aspect.
